It's June and summer renovations are in full swing. I hope all is going smooth for everyone. Last months meeting at Stonebridge C.C. was a great success. Thanks to all who attended and participated, especially the superintendents who gave their time and showed their support for TESTA. We participated in discussion which gave us better perspective of our roles in the industry and how we can effectively work together to accomplish the goal of providing a quality golf course. We also covered topics such as the outlook of our industry in the future. Hope all that attended the meeting walked away with some knowledge. This months meeting will be held at Royal Wood C.C. clubhouse. Please dress appropriately!

I want to share some very sad new with all of you. Our dear friend and longtime member, Don Ryan, has passes away. Don always brought a smile to peoples faces and was so full of life. He will be missed and always remembered.

The TESTA Directory is being updated and refined. Many of you have seen the rough draft so if you are interested in advertising the fees are as follows: 2 page ad - $200, 1 page ad - $100, and ½ page ad - $50. Please contact me if you are interested. I would like to be able to have everything put together by June.

As you can see the website is coming together. I'd like to thank Stephen Tucker and Ben Johnston for their continued support with the technical aspect of this website. We will be continually working on it as time goes on. The forum area of the website is functional and open for you to communicate with your fellow members. If you have a position to fill post it in the "Job opportunities" forum. Vendors can use the "Vendor updates" forum to communicate with techs about important developments or notices of training schools. The Equipment section of the forum is also open. Having a problem or issue you cant resolve. Had the same problem or found the answer for someones problem. Share your experience with them in these brand specific forums. There is also a forum if your looking to buy, sell, trade or give away something. There is a wealth of knowledge and everyone has problems that they need help with. So lets make this a great educational resource that all of us in TESTA can benefit from. After all that is what TESTA was created for. So get involved, participate in the forum. JW
News Update
The March 1st deadline for membership dues has past. If you were a member last year and your name is not on the 2009 member list, you have not retained membership or enrollment in the life insurance. Once the proper paperwork and dues have been recieved you will be reinstated.
